I am a freelance writer in southern California. I am capable of writing both creatively and technically. I have a certificate in Proofreading/Editing and have years of experience doing research of all sorts. I am a former English teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology (Minors: Poetry, PreLaw), a paralegal certificate, police academy completion certificate, and sexual assault advocate certificate. 

I have written press releases, articles, poetry, editorials, legal briefs, web content, newsletters, brochures, resumes, and proofread and edited many projects. I am knowledgeable on SEO (search engine optimization). With years of competitive debate and public speaking experience, I have taught debate workshops and can write (and deliver) speeches and presentations. Also, I currently facilitate a monthly creative writing workshop.

I have worked in print and online for companies all over the globe on projects big and small. My husband Octavio handles all Spanish/English translations. He is a native Spanish-speaker, who has been living in the US for the last 15 years.
